PowerBilt Golf EX-550 Hybrid Iron Set (4-PW, SW), Graphite Senior Flex Shafts – Right-Handed

While shopping for a complete hybrid set of clubs I decided to try these out. They set up nicely at address and the thick topline screams “hit me with confidence!” They truly are easier to hit than traditional irons. I played from 2002-2009. Became 7 handicapper. Played a variety of different clubs (cavity back, blades, muscle backs). Even added a couple of hybrids back then. Have just recently started back, all driving range at this point. Just trying to get my swing back. These clubs are super easy to hit and can give you a lot of confidence. For the more advanced player, you’ll find it easy to work the ball (fade, draw or straight). The feedback is pretty good on misshits and good shots. If you want more accuracy, you can always get them reshafted (graphite to steel) and still have a less investment vs. buying the more expensive clubs. They also produce a very nice sound. For curiosity reasons, I’ve tried a ser of regular flex shafts senior flex. The regular flex are close. I probably could use stiff flex. The senior flex had more of a harsh draw flight. A little too soft for my swing speed (79-84). Overall, if I were just starting to play golf or was looking for a good hybrid set, I would definitely consider these clubs, especially for the price!
