Burpee Fordhook Favorites 1 Nasturtium Flower Seed

I bought a pack of these last year and every seed germinated so I bought another pack (another brand) a few weeks later and they all grew but one. I’m not sure if these are mounding or vining. They look much different. I ended up with one of each and don’t remember which was which. Otherwise, they looked very much alike. The one in the morning sun did better than the one in partial shade most of the day. Also, I just noticed this packet says to scratch with nail file. I actually soaked my seeds overnight and planted the next morning both times – covering very lightly with soil. So, not sure if I was just lucky, or if either method actually works.
