Erin Condren 12 Month Budget Book Petite Planner – Colorblends. Goal Trackers, Expense and Savings Logs, Debt Tracker, Weekly and Monthly Spending Spreads

Exactly what I was looking for. At first I was hesitant to buy it since I’m trying to save money. Buying a new item is just spending money, and it’s over $10? I could have easily just used a notebook that was lying around or made a spreadsheet or used an app or printed free templates from online somewhere. However, it’s perfect for my needs. Have been using it for almost a month now. Great portable size, not heavy, pages aren’t too thin, durable quality, layout is good, and it helped my unorganized self really think about the parameters of my budgetary life/goals. Some might find the labels constraining but I found they gave enough guidance while having space to personalize.I like that I can carry it with me around in daily life, seeing it makes me think before I buy, and being able to look at my purchases listed is very helpful. Having to sit down and write things out is incredibly eyeopening and sobering at times. Why do I buy dumb things? Just because apparently. I’m challenging myself to make my purchase list shorter for every new month this year; a work-in-progress, but progress nonetheless. This might be a shallow point, but I do find it aesthetically pleasing. It’s not overtly cutesy but not boring or bland. The flecks of gold against navy blue is always a lovely combination, and the pop of color in the font is just right. The logo isn’t obnoxiously large and flows with the rest of the cover. The quote is well chosen and speaks to my sensible side. No qualms about the interior pages either, they work well. Might want to do a small test about drying time if gel pens are your preferred instrument . I’m very much a pen and paper person and prefer them to always typing into my phone. I’m not a luddite, but appreciate paper items like these and they have a place in my life. Like most things, a tool is only good if it suits your tastes and is actually used and utilized properly, and this budget planner meets the mark for me.
