Big Mama Hula Hoop
Big Mama Hula Hoop
Bigger Really Is Better If you’ve ever tried to hula hoop but the hoop just kept falling to the ground, there’s a good chance you simply needed a bigger hoop. Larger hoops rotate more slowly, giving your body extra time to find the rhythm, build confidence, and learn the basic waist hooping motion. That’s exactly why I created the Big Mama Hula Hoop. Think of the Big Mama Hula Hoop as the big sister to my Budget Practice Hoop. They’re built exactly the same way using the same beginner-friendly tubing and spiral of grip tape. The only difference is that Big Mama is available in larger diameters (48″-55″) for hoopers who want/need a larger hoop to get started. Just like my Budget Practice Hoop, Big Mama gives you the exact same beginner hooping experience as my decorative Beginner Hoop. The only difference is the finish. Instead of decorative tape, it’s wrapped with a simple spiral of grip tape. That means less material, less time for me to make, and a lower price for you, without sacrificing the hooping experience. Built to Last Every Big Mama Hula Hoop is handcrafted to order right here in North Carolina using durable, beginner-friendly tubing that’s designed to last for years. Your hoop arrives ready to use with a spiral of grip tape for extra traction while you’re learning. As that grip tape naturally wears over time, simply replace it and keep spinning! Many hoopers even choose to customize their hoop with decorative tape down the road, making it uniquely their own. Even though it’s big, your hoop is also collapsible, folding down to about one-quarter of its full size for easy storage and travel. Whether you’re heading to the park, the beach, a festival, or simply tucking it away at home, it’s easy to take your hoop with you. Every Body Deserves the Right Hoop One of the biggest misconceptions about hula hooping is that everyone should start with the same size hoop. Nothing could be further from the truth. The right beginner hoop is the one that’s sized for your body. For many hoopers, that means choosing a larger hoop that moves at a slower, more forgiving pace. Needing a bigger hoop isn’t a setback. It’s simply choosing the right tool for the job. Over the past 14 years, I’ve watched thousands of people discover that the right hoop can completely change their experience. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard someone say, “I thought I just couldn’t hula hoop… it turns out I was using the wrong size.” Ready to Learn?
