Summer Camp Times: *Note: Teens are welcome to attend any of our Adult/Teen Sewing, Crochet/Knitting, or Machine classes which run on evenings and weekends during the Summer season. Age Requirements: Open to students aged 12 and above. What to Expect at the Summer Sewing Workshop Tailored for All Skill Levels: Whether you’re new to sewing or have some experience, our camp is designed to meet your needs. We welcome: Beginners: If you’re just starting out, you’ll learn the basics with simple projects like tote bags or pillows, gradually moving on to more complex items. Intermediate/Advanced Sewers: For those with some sewing experience, we offer opportunities to refine your skills and tackle more challenging projects like tailored garments and detailed accessories. Special Interests: If you have a specific area of interest, such as garment making, home decor, or accessories, we provide focused projects to help you develop niche skills. Projects: Engage in a variety of projects, from creating your own clothes and accessories to designing home decor items. Each project is chosen to inspire creativity and practical skill application. Instructors: Our experienced sewing instructors will guide and support you throughout the camp, offering personalized instruction to help you improve your techniques and complete your projects successfully. Fabric Selection: You’ll have the opportunity to select your own fabrics for projects, giving you a chance to personalize your creations and learn about different types of materials. Machines: We provide studio sewing machines for your use, but you are encouraged to bring your own if you have one. This allows you to become more familiar with your personal equipment.
