10 Metre (28 Mhz) Amateur Radio Base Station Antenna

DescriptionThis is our new 0.64 wavelength end fed vertical antenna for the 10 metre amateur radio band. Designed specifically for 28.0-29.7 Mhz, this antenna comprises 6 screw together aluminium rods, loading coil and 3 counterpoise sections, which form the complete antenna. The antenna is ground independant, rated at 200 watts and is terminated with an SO-239 connector.  We have pretuned this model to 28.875 Mhz to give the best possible SWR (<1.5:1) across the band. We include a 10 metre length of RG58 cable terminated with BNC plugs and 2 x BNC female to PL-259 adaptors, to allow connection to most transceivers.This antenna is best mounted on a length of 40-50mm steel pipe, at least 2 metres above the ground. The entire antenna is 5.9m in length and weighs less than 2Kg. Note: This antenna is too large to ship by Australia Post.  Shipping will be calculated on an individual basis.
